Welcome to The Sanger Foundation. This foundation was established to help offset the extraordinary medical expenses required to care for individuals in dire financial need.

The Sanger Foundation has been granted 501(c)3 tax exempt status by the US Internal Revenue Service.

Kyle Whitmore had just become an Eagle Scout and was applying to engineering schools when he suffered a catastrophic brain injury while hospitalized in June of 2013. Kyle and his family spent nine months at three different hospitals and he endured multiple surgeries before finally being able to return home with his family in April, 2014. Because he is now in a semi-conscious state, he requires 24/7 nursing care and extensive rehabilitation in his home.

Please join the friends of the Whitmore family and the Sanger Foundation as we raise funds to help Kyle along his road to recovery. Proceeds from this event will help Kyle with his current medical care, as well as extensive rehabilitation that is not covered by other means.

6th Annual Sanger Foundation Fund Raiser is Huge Success

The Sanger Foundation Event at Pinehurst Country Club raised in excess of $80,000 dollars net, making it our must successful event to date.  Thanks to all of the participants, sponsors, donors and volunteers!

2012 News

We want to share some great news about our just concluded 5th Annual Sanger Foundation event held at Pinehurst Country Club on Saturday September 29th. John Sanger again this year kicked off the golf tournament with a well struck drive on the number one tee.

The net amount raised for people in dire need was well over $50,000 for the fifth year in a row. The foundation is very proud and honored to be involved with all of you for this amazing cause that is changing people's lives in our community.

A big THANK YOU again this year to Pinehurst Country Club and Loren Pippin, Kevin Vena, Marie Mathe-Hooks and all of their team members for making the event easy for us and doing such a great job of making it "The Fundraiser Event" you don't want to miss!

Special thanks this year to "The Longest Day in Golf" participants. Head Golf Professional Kevin
Vena along with PCC members Jim Pryor, Scott Guetz and Paul Rakowski
played 185 holes and received pledges of over $5000 all of which was donated to The Sanger Foundation!

Thanks to all participants of the second annual Strikes & Spares for Sanger held last Saturday the 25th at Crown Lanes. 5
6 Bowlers participated in bowling and a silent auction while many others stopped by to watch, have a beverage and drop a couple of bucks in the donation jar. Bowler pledges are almost all in and The Sanger Foundation is thrilled to announce that in excess of $4,000.00 was raised. Many thanks to Bev Hoffenberg, Laurie Lawrence and Kathleen Bennett who organized and pulled this event together on behalf of The Sanger Foundation for the second year in a row. The foundation thanks you ladies and all the participants, pledgers and auction item donors for your continued amazing and undying support!
